 How do I get started to order a Custom Honors™ Tribute? After deciding to order a Custom Honor Tribute for your hero, there are two initial steps to take. You may wish to start with the order questionnaire to clarify for yourself the accomplishments and challenges face by your hero. This will help you to gather significant commendations, medals and honors that they have received. You will then need the best pictures you can for us to use. Usually one formal headshot is very helpful, but candid shots are wonderful too. We have found that many military people feel very close to their crews and comrades, so if you have a picture of them, please include that. If your pictures are faded or damaged, be prepared to authorize us to restore the picture for best quality. If you have ordered a bronze tribute, only one or two pictures would be necessary- the best two of only your honoree. A silver tribute you will want to provide information as to the type of plane, ship, tank etc. you would like to see on the picture, and in most cases we will have a great picture to use; you may however provide a picture of THEIR vehicle if you would like to. Gold tribute customers may upload or send many different items, we will incorporate everything that makes sense to include as space allows in order to make the finest quality tribute representing the events you would like us to represent. Many veterans have so many events they would like to create remembrances of that you may want to plan ahead of time for how many you will eventually like to have and concentrate on one at a time. Once you have completed the questionnaire and gathered the information, it needs to either be mailed to us registered mail, or upload the images to our site. I do not have the medals to provide you for the Custom Honors™ tribute, is there anything I can do to get a  replacement medal?

Go to the Upload page, then follow the step by step directions to upload a picture. You will see a "Browse" button that will enable you to select a picture from your computer.  How do I get my photos onto my computer?You must first scan your photos using a scanner, or transfer pictures from your digital camera to your computer. If you do not have the ability to scan the photo, take it to a Fedex Office Center and they will help you. Just tell them to scan it for 8x10 output at 600dpi (dots per inch) and save it on a 3½ floppy disk or CD as a JPEG, jpg "High" quality setting. RGB (true color), IBM PC Format. Click here for printable instructions for Fedex Office. How should I scan the original photo to send to you? Just scan it at 600 dpi (dots per inch) for 8x10 RGB (true color) output. Then save as JPEG, jpg, "high" quality setting IBM PC Format. You can then Upload it to us or put it on a 3½ floppy disk or CD and mail it to us. We accept Zip disk, CD rom disk, DVD, and floppy disk. TIFF, Zip, JPG, and most other image files are also acceptable. How long will it take to receive my Custom Honors™ tribute? Depending on the complexity of your order and our work flow, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. You will receive periodic updates notifying you that we have received your order, and we may contact you for more information. Your prompt attention to our requests will facilitate your order being completed in the most prompt fashion.  How will my Custom Honors™ tribute be shipped?We use a variety of shipping methods depending on where your Custom Honor is being shipped to. We use the United States Postal Service, UPS and Federal Express. Shipping costs will be passed on without any surcharge directly to you, you may request 2 day or overnight express if you would like to. Will I receive a proof? You will receive a proof for a Silver or a Gold Tribute, and will be able to request limited changes to be made to it at that time. If significant changes are made differing greatly from the information we received, a reasonable charge may be made to cover the artists cost, but we will make every effort to accommodate your requests, as we want you be thrilled with your Custom Honors™ Tribute. Changes made after the final approval will incur an automatic $25.00 charge, and depending on the changes made could have additional fees added. Can I choose my frame and mat? We provide a variety of frames and matting, and invite you to select the frame and mat of your choice. If we feel we  can offer you a better option than you have selected we will notify you of that and see if you would like that option. We reserve the right to refuse to ship any Custom Honor with framing that clashes with the final picture, as our quality and reputation is extremely important to us.
